Today, globalization and mobility for scientific, professional or cultural imperatives require the mastery of several languages. To meet this expectation, the University of Biskra has set up a new center.
The structure, that consists of ground and first floors, offers a series of educational and cultural spaces:
The Centre opens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day except Fridays, and receives every year around 3,000 learners, supervised by 60 teachers and divided into groups of 20 students.
This consists of permanent and temporary teachers, two thirds of whom teach the English language.
These teachers, graduates from Algerian and foreign universities, all have experience in teaching languages. foreigners, and master the current language teaching process.
The CEIL guarantees training for the following tests:

These courses are intended for academic or professional purposes. The Centre offers a la carte training and face-to-face training, requested in particular by companies.
Our Center is authorized to organize and pass the TOEIC, TOEFL and TFI tests, in partnership with ALC (Algerian Learning Center) the Official Representative of ETS (Educational Testing Service) in the USA.
Today, in addition to French, English, Spanish and Arabic, the Centre provides training in Turkish, Italian, German and soon Chinese and Russian languages..
Various organizations and companies (Ministry of National Education, CILAS Cement of Biskra, SONATRACH ...) demand the services of the Centre for the on-site training of their staff based on these conventions.
Our Centre is proud to have participated in the retraining of 630 teachers of National Education, and to open classes for children as part of the "Language Nursery" project.
The Centre responds to the demand for language training for PhD students, scholarship students abroad and international students for the Arabic language.
Each beneficiary of a training is given a certificate in accordance with the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECRL)..
At the end of the training session, the CEIL issues level certificates following success in the final exam. This certificate bears the label of the University of Biskra mentioning the marks obtained by the candidate in the four skills examined according to the following scale :
The final grade is out of 100, the admission grade is from 50 out of 100.
Regarding the teaching of French, it should be noted that the CCF of Algiers grants students of CEIL the possibility of passing the DELF and DALF exams with a reduction in registration fees and depending on the calendar established by the CCF specially for the students of the Algerian CEILs.
DELF and DALF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of National Education to certify French skills of candidates called to register with French universities.
Each candidate can register directly for the exam of their choice: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2 ..., knowing that Algerian students wishing to enroll in French universities will need the DELF B2 to validate their enrollment.
Le Centre d’Enseignement Intensif desLangues, conçu comme un service commun de l’Université de Biskra, regroupe cinqsections : la section de français, la section d’anglais, la section d’espagnol, la section d’allemand, la section d’italien. Le centre est dirigé par un Directeur et des responsables de section. Les activités duCEIL sont regroupées en trois catégories : l’enseignement intensif, le perfectionnement et la formation continue à la carte.
